You may have seen that Leah Rhianne Photography and Alpha Athletics have been working together this season to document your athletes. One of the benefits of having your own Alphatographer is that we are slowly getting to know your athletes ( and we love that )! We've decided to extend our coverage beyond the mat and open event coverage to include personal photo requests. What does this mean for you? If the event photographers on site usually miss your athlete because they're in the back... ask us to try to get some photos! If you'd like a family photo while decked out in your Alpha Gear... ask us! Photo of your athlete wearing their medal? Request away! We're going to try to provide personalized, affordable event coverage tailored to you.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who can make requests and how do we go about it?
If you reach out in advance it gives us more opportunity to familiarize ourselves with your athlete ahead of the event so we know who to focus on, but we’re always happy to take photos requests from parents, coaches or athletes on site (when we are not needed stage-side). Please don’t hesitate to ask!
Don't you photograph all the athletes?
I try to get photos of as many athletes as possible but ask parents to reach out ahead of time if they specifically want photos of their athlete(s). This allows us to familiarize faces and attempt to follow these athletes throughout the event for well-rounded coverage. If you did not request photos but you're seeing lots of photos of your athlete(s) they most likely volunteered themselves :)
Do I need to pay anything in advance to have photos taken of my athlete?
Nope! Every event is different as far as lighting / where we’re allowed to be etc so you will be able to see the images from the event before you decide to purchase.
Where will photos be posted?
The galleries from the events will be hosted on our website - I will post a link in the member page when a gallery is available for viewing.
When will photos be available for viewing?
As soon as I can. I do all of the post-production on our photos myself so turnaround depends how many photos are taken at an event :)

What’s offered? Are there packages?
Right now we’re only offering digitals for event photos. There are three options: individual images, 10 image package or All images of your athlete(s) from that event. All orders are sent to us for approval prior to downloads being made available to ensure parents are only purchasing photos of their athlete(s). Downloads will be hi-resolution images.
Is photo coverage the same at all events?
Every event is different as far as lighting, backdrops and rules for photography so images will vary between events.
* Please note that when there is no stage lighting at events cameras must be set to a higher sensitivity so there will be some grain to the images *
How often will this be offered?
As photographers weekends are our primary work days but we would much prefer to be at our daughter’s cheer competitions than shooting photos for others elsewhere - if we can :) By supporting your Alphatographer you’re increasing the chances of us being able to photograph more events throughout the season so THANK YOU in advance!
